About the Job :
Based in Pune Baner, you will become a part of the Automation Development team, which is responsible for the development of advanced control systems and IoT solutions for all Alfa Laval core products.
As our new Electrical Design Engineer, you will design, maintain our Automation Systems in an Agile environment throughout the whole product lifecycle.
The main tasks of the job to cover the below :
Perform electrical calculations for panel, field cables, Power incoming sizing, heat dissipation, bus bar sizing, rittal busbar selection.
Design of electrical panels in low voltage.
Understanding on Motor selection sizing.
Develop the electrical alternative design for new product development.
Knowledge on IEC 60204-1 is must.
Person should know the CE, UL,cUL norms design basis.
Develop and update design drawing independently in close collaboration with stakeholders.
Review engineering drawings analyse design and retrieve information to complete drawing, layout or design.
Use detail drawing or engineering specifications to dimension scale etc.
EN 60079-1 For hazardous area zone-1, zone-2. Also the requirement for the zone application. Atex components selection as per required gas group. IS loop calculation will be required
What you know :
Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering degree
Electrical design tools like ePlan P8 or similar.
EN60204-1,UL508a and EN 60079-1 standards
Experience with electrical engineering drawings
Relevant experience with project work and product development,project management is added advantage.
Fluent written and spoken English.
