Job Description

We are looking forward to a Senior Engineer(D&D) (DERMS) based in Pune, India. This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Design and write code
  • Work directly with various stake holders to deliver high quality solutions
  • Develop various libraries and associated APIs for Energy management algorithms
  • Develop tools for automated testing
  • Write unit tests, integration tests and regression tests
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems: You will work with different product teams and/customers to troubleshoot and fix problems.
  • Work with project team to ensure timely execution of projects
  • Develop engineering documentation including software requirements specification, design verification test plans, product configuration specifications, user interface specifications.
  • Champions continuous process improvements to support the Eaton Business System; DMAIC / DFSS.
QualificationsRequirement:
  • Masters in Electrical/Computer/Software engineering
  • Experience using MATLAB and other modelling tools.
  • Experience with data mining and data analysis.
  • Experience with MATLAB data API and big data processing
  • Experience with algorithm developments.
  • Experience writing automated unit, integration and regression tests
  • Strong knowledge of product development tools especially JAMA, Code collaborator and the Atlassian tools (JIRA, SourceTree, Confluence and Bitbucket).
  • Minimum of 3 years working with Python and C++.
  • Expertise in Industrial communication protocols
  • Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills experience working in International teams is highly recommended
  • Experience collaborating with local / global suppliers for Hardware/Software procurement, building test lab setups etc. Hands on experience with Emulators and simulators.
  • System and Software reviews, FMEA.
  • Masters/PhD degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
  • Experience with Model based design
  • Experience with Machine Learning, cloud computing
  • Experience working with Energy management systems and/or Microgrid control
  • Experience with IEC61850, MODBUS, IEC60870, DNP3.
  • Strong competency in customer focus, leadership, technical/functional excellence and the ability to champion change.
