Job Description

We are looking forward to a Senior Engineer ( V&V, LabVIEW ) based in Pune, India. This exciting role offers opportunity to:
  • Perform Test Bench Application development using NI LabVIEW Programming Language.
  • Understand Electrical Schematics for Test Bench Controls and instrumentation.
  • Working knowledge of National Instruments CompactRIO, PXI, CompactDAQ.
  • Understand and have programming knowledge of Industrial Communication protocol using LabVIEW e.g. Modbus over TCP/IP, EtherCAT, CAN and more
  • Work on NI based system (mostly LabVIEW with NI or other vendor instruments).
  • Develop end to end system hardware and software implementation.
  • Update current LabVIEW based system upgrade LabVIEW software for new features
  • Work with the customer to collect the requirements. Convert the requirement to project specifications.
  • Supports and modifies software as required after development and installation.
  • Ensure timely progress/status is conveyed to the customer. Any risk/delay to be conveyed to the management at the earliest.
  • Be responsible for the complete project execution including installation at customer place.
QualificationsRequirement:
  • Should have worked on at least one hardware platform extensively - RIO,CDAQ,PXI,USB systems
  • Experience in selection and programming of data acquisition devices & Bench top instruments
  • Should have work experience on different LabVIEW architectures State machine,consumer producer.
  • Worked with various sensors, actuators and NI hardware, Automation, knowledge for the test benches.
  • Experience in handling instruments from other vendors ( Non NI hardware)
  • Analyze, understand, and review software requirements.
  • Translates requirements/specifications into design, and ultimately software.
  • Development of responsive GUI based applications.
  • Experience with LabVIEW Real-Time and FPGA modules.
  • Working knowledge of different communication busses (GPIB, RS-232, RS-485, USB, Ethernet, Modbus, CAN, LIN, etc.)
  • Knowledge on Electronics and electrical, wiring diagram.
  • Develop, maintain and support existing LabVIEW applications.
  • Interface with mechanical, electrical, system and other software engineers for requirements and design definition.
  • Prepared end user documentation and assisted in help file.
  • Any level of certification (CLAD, CLD, CLA) is an advantage
