STET has been established as an entrepreneurial organization that focuses on fast-paced, high-quality portfolio transfers within the Philips global supply base to mitigate risk & maximize profitability.In this role, you have the opportunity toManage high impact, complex transfer projects that enables Philips to reduce risk, improve profitability, align with Philips strategic supply base and optimize supply chain flexibility. The primary function within this role is to execute engineering activities through the course of fast-paced, high quality transfer projects.You will be responsible for driving meaningful and innovative product development, generating ideas/concepts in feature development to improve quality and reduce cost, as well as performing the role of a technical lead in taking the product development through manufacturing release while transferring products between suppliers.You are responsible forCarrying out all System Engineering activities of assigned product(s)/product line(s) as per the global system engineering process.Is responsible for the achievement of the technical goal/commitment of a projectAnalyze customer requests and translate them into technical requirements (requirement engineering)Analyze project ideas regarding realization options; evaluate impact on running projectsAnalyze product(s) issues from the field (post market) and take complete ownership in providing relevant solution(s)Create technical requirement documentation and be responsible for traceability of requirements at system levelParticipate and perform risk analysis according to applicable medical device standardsDefine system and subsystem architecture under considerations of platform constraintsDetects common architectural and functional components in order to enable reuse and maintainabilityCooperate and guide business partners/ suppliers on national/international levelBe interface to and take complete ownership in managing the hardware/software deliverable from internal and external supplierGuide subsystem development teams on system interfacing topicsManaging that the requirements and design is understood and implemented correctly by the project teamReliability and Serviceability of the system / subsystem / componentsTransfer design output to manufacturing lineAdvising on realization, planning and budgetsContributing to Technology RoadmapsTo succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experienceCompleted engineering studies at university level; BE/BTech/ME/Mtech/MS/MSc in Electronics/Electrical/Computer ScienceTotal 18+ years experience with Minimum 5 years of experience in the X-ray system/subsystem design & development (or at least two end to end X-ray product development)In-depth knowledge in selection of imaging components/subsystem for X-ray based systemsKnowledge of IEC 60601 standards, risk management, verification and validation of medical devicesKnowhow of design control processes for medical device designSystem thinking mindset and domain expertise in the related areaWorking knowledge of cabling design, design for EMI/EMC , Design for reliabilityFast learner and interest to learn new technologies/business/systemsAbility to present ideas and to convince project team membersBe structured and self-organizedExcellent communication skillsTeam player, leadership skills and drive for resultsMindset to simplify and reach to solutions with speedIntercultural sensitivitySelf-motivation & ability to lead R&D teamIn return, we offer youA rewarding career in Philips with attractive package. `Extensive set of tools to drive your career, such as a personal development budget, free training and coachingAttractive collective health insurance packageOpportunity to buy Philips shares and products with discountWhy should you join Philips Working at Philips is more than a job.
