Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall Hardware design of the product.
  • This will include design of the power electronics circuits and microcontroller based embedded systems.
  • Responsible for meeting the overall project schedule and budget.
  • Experience of full Hardware development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification testing in Industrial applications.
  • Design schematic of digital, mix signal and power electronics circuit board that satisfied the design requirement.
  • Hands on experience in schematic design and ECAD Tools.
  • Hands on experience in defining the system / module specifications, designing the architecture and requirements for complex systems.
  • Experience in collaborating with local / global suppliers for prototype developments, external labs for testing etc.
  • Work with cross function team to understand customer requirement, participate in system /subsystem design review, finalize electronics design requirement by reviewing with systems & global engineering teams.
  • Good knowledge on PCB design guidelines for SI, high speed design, split ground plane & EMI/EMC.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Strong Analytical skills, Interpersonal and Communication skills.
  • Experience in hardware architecture design, feature & performance specifications, 16/32-bit micro-controllers / micro-processor-based designs.
  • Hands on experience on simulation tools like PSpice, LTSpice, Model Sim, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of EMI / EMC certification and environmental compliances UL /IEC / RoHS /REACH etc.
  • Hands on experience on various Communication protocols like RS232, RS485, SPI, I2C, Ethernet,wireless, etc.
  • Should have hands on experience linear / Switched Mode Power Supplies.
  • Document and interpret specifications of electronic components.
  • Work with cross function team to understand customer requirement, participate in system /subsystem design review, finalize electronics design requirement by reviewing with systems & global engineering teams.
  • Excellent understanding of analog, digital and power supply design fundamentals.
  • Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Education: Bachelors degree.
