Job Description

    Senior development role on a critical applicationRequirements capture, analysis and design on the ecommerce platformWork with the GUI team to realize flow interaction, and communication interfacesTesting and UA coordinationLiaison with the global business, support and development teamsTroubleshoot performance and scalability issuesThird line support of the platform during trading hoursClose interaction with the business product manager and other internal business users covering FX tradingJob Opportunities:Will be able to acquire an excellent knowledge of the FX flow business domainGain knowledge of FX electronic tradingUse of latest java technologiesBasic Qualification:Bachelor s degree Computer Science/Engineering or related fieldTotal and Relevant Experience:Total technical experience requirements are 5+ YrsServer-side developmentTechnical Skills Required:Very strong core java 8/11Spring (Apache Camel is a plus)Multi-threadingSolid understanding of OO principlesUnix/Linux experienceRelational database concepts and knowledge in SQLExperience working with large complex applicationsNice to have: FIX protocol, Socket s API, middleware s such as Tibco EMS, Tibco RV, Solace, Gemfire, CouchbaseNon Technical Skills Required:Excellent communication skills (there is a requirement to be trader and sales facing)Passion for technology, especially JavaSelf-motivated and a desire to progress your careerFlexible and adaptive, team playerExcellent analytical and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressure, prioritize work and well organizedComfortable in presenting suggestions for change and or improving work flowAbility to pick up new concepts and apply the knowledge.Understanding of financial concepts
      Qualifications:
      • 5-8 years of relevant experience
      • Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
      • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
      • Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
      • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
      Education:
      • Bachelor s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
