About the team Worldpay by FIS is building a community of engineers to develop and then commodities a catalogue of enterprise-wide consumable products that can easily and repeatably be scaled and deployed across our global Merchant Cloud & Automation Services (MCAS) architecture. The products you develop will help drive our organization towards our strategic principle Cloud First and our successes will be measured through the continued adoption of our MCAS products and services. Operating within a collaborative SAFe environment, we aim to deliver effective solutions focused on business value. What you will be doing Skills: Java, Spring, Hibernate, Web services, RESTful API design and PLSQL.
• Solid hands-on experience on Java, Spring, Hibernate, Web services.
• Expertise with RESTful API design
• Experience with Oracle, PLSQL
• Experience working on Linux/ UNIX
• Experience with Java and IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse development.
• Linux/ Unix/ scripting (e.g., Perl, Python)
• Have a strong knowledge of software architecture and industry design patterns
• Experience working in an Agile setup with Release management and support activities
• Good Communication skills
• Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.
Nice to have skills/knowledge
• Familiar with scripting languages likes Groovy / Python / Ruby.
• Familiar with Kafka or other message bus.
• Desired to have knowledge of JMX.
• Microservice exposure is nice to have.
• Agile SAFe, SCRUM methodology preferred.
