Job Description

    We are looking for a versatile MLOps Engineer for the Intelligent Video Analytics Team.This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to AI-rich solutions being built at NVIDIA by integrating several SDKs including Metropolis for Vision AI, Riva for Speech AI , Merlin for Recommendation Engines and Omniverse for 3D Graphics. You will apply and extend methodology, tools and infrastructure to evaluate, debug and train ML technology within these solutions. Do you have a broad interest in improving AI technologies through application of state of the art MLOps technologies If so, this position is for you!What youll be doing:This position offers you the opportunity to collaborate within a worldwide matrixed software development team working on AI for vision, speech, avatars etc, and have broad impact within our highly-dynamic and technology-focused company. Responsibilities include:
    • Collaborating with teams to develop, manage and extend datasets used to evaluate and train AI functionality
    • Develop workflows and pipelines to ingest, pre-process, evaluate and curate data
    • Run AI workloads in clusters for analysis, validation and debug
    • Develop visualizations and dashboards to understand and query datasets, inference results, experiments etc
    • Work with SDK teams to identify and measure KPIs for accuracy & performance and measure these for datasets of interest
    • Implement pipelines to run experiments on new data, models, and software to establish acceptance and facilitate CI/CD
    • Design automation to efficiently enable processing data at-scale
    What do we need to see:
    • Bachelors of Science or Master s degree or equivalent experience
    • 6 years of demonstrable experience in contributing to production grade ML systems
    • Demonstrated understanding of ML technologies applied to one or more of vision, speech, sensor processing
    • Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines, object store and SQL databases
    • Experience setting up processes and pipelines for automation
    • Curiosity, interest and enthusiasm for developing systems using cutting edge AI
    • Demonstrated use of sound technical judgment for decision making
    • Strong analytical skills and proven success in problem-solving, debugging and achieving performance objectives
    Ways to stand out from the crowd:
    • Experience implementing and managing production machine learning systems
    • Knowledge of distributed programming paradigms including design and secure access of REST APIs
    • Experience with visualization and building dashboards
    • Knowledge of NVIDIA GPU based AI architectures and associated software stack
    • Experience with training of neural networks on GPU clusters including transfer learning
    • Demonstrated ability to jump in and work on diverse problems in the ML space
