DescriptionThe Infrastructure Operations Authority provides expert knowledge on the operation and management of central and/or local data centres, legacy and/or centralized infrastructure, standards and requirements to support the availability of Vodafone IT applications and Data Centre activities and database environments. The Infrastructure Operations Authority focusses on activities that ensure the availability and effective functioning of internal network infrastructure, data availability and technical support for customers (internal and external). Including monitoring of hardware and software in datacentres, and executing event/incident, configuration, escalation, release, deployment and 3rd party database management activities. Typically reports to the Senior Infrastructure Manager.Job ResponsibilityOpenshift JD: Keywords- openshift architect, Openshift 3.11 and 4.x , service mesh, aws openshift cloud, Openshift consultant, Openshift istio. Experience Required: Minimum 2 yrs of hands on production experience on Openshift 3.11 and 4.x Extensive knowledge in Openshift and service mesh istio. Extensive troubleshooting skill in docker and podman. Architectural understanding of openshift components and objects. Openshift installation hands-on experiance in both on-prem and public cloud mainly in AWS. Openshift network access control between namespaces. CNS understanding, EBS, networking plugin of openshift, vxLAN and overlay networking of kubrnetes. Role based access control, selinux context understanding with openshift, oauth2 configuration and integration with openshift deployment like monitoring stack and logging stack. Keyclock sso integration. Monitoring and capacity planning of Openshift/Kubernetes cluster. Introducing custom monitoring alert based by using automation scripts etc. Hand on experience in Openshift life-cycle management. CI/CD pipeline understanding, deployment planning and implementation of CI/CD pipeline based on requirement. Good understanding of jenkins and its integration. Understanding of helm chart and artifactory like sonatype nexus and jfrog. Development of custom helm chart and Dockerfile. Required troubleshooting skill: Service mesh istio related incidents, Openshift networking related incidents. Network ACL and security context in deployments.Kubernetes JD: Keywords- kubernetes architect, kubernetes, service mesh, aws kubernetes, EKS,ECR, Fargate, Cloudwatch, kubernetes consultant, ansible. Experience Required: Minimum 2 yrs of hands on production experience on kubernetes. Extensive knowledge in kubernetes, service mesh istio, EKS, GKE and ansible. Extensive troubleshooting skill in docker and CRI. Architectural understanding of kubernetes components and objects. kubernetes installation hand on experience in both on-prem and public cloud mainly in AWS. Experience in deploying Kubernetes using IaC (Terraform and ansible ) kubernetes network access control between namespaces. CNS understanding, CALICO, vxLAN and overlay networking of kubernetes. Role based access control, selinux context understanding with kubernetes, Experience in deployment like monitoring stack and logging stack. aws cloudwatch integration with eks and kubernetes for metric and logging visualization. Storage class understanding and pv resizing with EBS. Monitoring and capacity planning of kubernetes cluster. Introducing custom monitoring alert based by using automation scripts etc. CI/CD pipeline understanding and deployment planning, implementation of CI/CD pipeline based on requirement. Good understanding of Jenkins,GoCD (optional) and its integration. Understanding of helm chart and artifactory like sonatype nexus and vmware harbor. Development of custom helm chart and Dockerfile. Required troubleshooting skill: Service mesh istio related incidents, kubernetes networking related incidents. Network ACL and security context in deployments.
