Are you confident at iteratively refining user requirements and removing any ambiguity Do you like to be challenged and encouraged to learn and grow professionally We re looking for a PEGA Engineer to: provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services manage an on-premises (Tomcat, Red Hat, Oracle database) PEGA solution, including patches, upgrades and general maintenance design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of software development life cycle ensure that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to move from test to productionYour teamYou ll be working in the HRIT team in Pune, India and will be working primarily on our PEGA on-premises system. We provide a community environment and as a hands-on Engineer, you ll play an important role in working with your whole team on timely delivery of projects. You must be highly skilled and proficient in your area of expertise and contribute to our overall portfolio of programs., previous experience of working on large scale PEGA implementations bachelor s/master s degree or equivalent work experience in software engineering or computer science ability to communicate concisely and at all levels of the organization working with a global team often collaborating with others that are not in your direct line of managementtechnical skills high level of aptitude and experience on the PEGA platform , with a baseline certification of Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) or Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) plus relevant work experience. understanding of the latest PEGA features and how they can benefit our existing applications. provide technical solutions in PEGA from proposed business requirements across 6 existing PEGA Applications that currently service a number of HR business management processes to use PEGA to design and build reusable solutions across multiple lines of business able to participate in design and construction of a PEGA application, possessing fundamental and essential skills such as analysis and design would be preferable experience with Java based applications Project Management skills preferably within an agile environmentdesirable technical skills continuous integration - (GitHub, GitLab, TeamCity, Nexus, SonarQube, Fortify) Automated Unit Testing APIs (REST, SOAP) and API managers relational and NoSQL databases container and microservice architectures unix fundamentals (permissions, commands, basic shell scripting, installing packages) web development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, popular JavaScript libraries and frameworks) secure coding practices (authorisation, authentication, permission provisioning tools, etc.) encryption and data transfer models (HTTPS, SSH, SFTP, symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, TLS) understanding of full stack (backend, frontend, network, OS, middleware, etc.) on-premises, SaaS and Cloud solutions design patterns and best practices*#LI-SS1
