Job Requisition ID #24WD75334Position OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team at Autodesk Pune, India. We are looking for Engineers who love finding efficient, scalable and thoughtful solutions to a variety of technical and product challenges. As a senior software quality assurance engineering, you will assist testing of new functionalities and services, improving workflow completeness across portfolio, identifying current gaps and implementing solutions to address them. You need to be familiar with testing concepts and CAD software for desktop and cloud products.This is a hybrid position in Pune, and you will report to Manager, Software QA Engineering.Responsibilities Work with scrum team to define QA strategy, establish release management practice(s) for the scrum team, and perform manual end-to-end testing on time and at high quality that conforms to user story acceptance criteria. Work with product design and product management to. understand requirements and translate them to test plans for functional and regression testing. Organise and participant customer testing through Insider Program activities and internal bug bashes. Collect customer feedback, analyse customer requirement and behaviour to define and perform customer-oriented solution test. Drive QA practice and collaborate with other QAs across the organization to drive consistency in test planning and execution across portfolio. Be very passionate about writing assertions that match business acceptance criterias and maintaining stability of feature via manual testing and automation testing. Be understanding for Front End, Backend E2E Automation of feature developed along with understanding of performance testing. Work with Product Support for customer issues support. Communicate and collaborate across global teams.Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Computer Engineering discipline from reputed engineering college 6 years experience in software testing and quality assurance Must have some domain experience in CAD (PDM/PLM) Must have solid hands-on experience with testing Web applications Strong in trouble shooting skills and meticulous attention to detail Solid familiarity with Agile development processes and QA methodologies Self-directed, Creative, Proactive and require minimal supervision Experience in software performance and security testingPreferred Qualifications Exposure to testing cloud infrastructure based on AWS Exposure to other automation frameworks like Selenium, Karate, RestAssured, or Jmeter Exposure to quick scripting in postman to test Rest APIs Exposure to CI Tools like Jenkins, etcLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
