Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.Join us as a Software Engineer on our PowerProtect Data Protection Appliance (IDPA) Engineering Development team in Pune to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.What you ll achieveAs a Software Engineer on our PowerProtect Data Protection Appliance (IDPA) Engineering Development team, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.You will: Design, implement and test backend software using Java. Author architecture documents and design specifications for new functionality. Identify and solve performance and scalability issues involving large data sets. Constructively weigh and integrate feedback from Product Designers, GUI Designers, and customers. Work in a team environment. Here s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements
• Development experience of 2-8 years, full-stack / Back-end development in any of the following technologies:
• Java programming skills and in-depth knowledge of OOD and OOP
• Java Technologies: core Java, Advanced Java, REST APIs, spring framework
• Data structure and API design development
• Working knowledge of VMWare technologies
• Good Debugging skills and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable Requirements
• Agile development methodology (Scrum, XP, etc.) is preferable
• Good to have knowledge of Storage system technology, System Management/System Administration, Virtualization, networking
• Automation testing experience with Python
