Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.Join us as a Software Engineer on our PowerProtect Data Protection Appliance (IDPA) Engineering Development team in [Pune] to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.What you ll achieveAs a Software Engineer for UI Development on our PowerProtect Data Protection Appliance (IDPA) Engineering Development team, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.You will: Design, implement and test GUI software using Java and Web technologies. Author architecture documents and design specifications for new functionality. Identify and solve performance and scalability issues involving large data sets. Constructively weigh and integrate feedback from Product Designers, GUI Designers, and customers. Work in a team environment. Here s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements
• MS or BS Computer Science with 2-8 years of UI development experience in technologies as below:
• Web Technologies: CSS, SASS, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, typescript,
• IDE & tools: Eclipse/visual studio code
• Angular Framework
• JavaScript Libraries: Jquery, Angular JS, Bootstrap
• Other Tools and technologies : Bower, NPM, Gulp, Grunt, Angular-CLI
• Java programming skills and in-depth knowledge of OOD and OOP
• Good Debugging skills
• Knowledge of web application development
• Detail oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Storage system technology, System Management/System Administration
Desirable Requirements
• Knowledge of UX Design is preferable
• Agile development methodology (Scrum, XP, etc.) is preferable
