Job Description

    We are now looking for a Software Engineer to work on the CUDA Samples project. The samples are educational code documentation used by others to learn CUDA. In this role you will improve and maintain automated testing infrastructure, work with feature engineers on sample design, and develop vital new processes for future CUDA Samples growth.What you ll be doing:
    • Develop the CUDA Samples project. This code is used by experts worldwide to learn how to program in CUDA.
    • Work with engineers developing new CUDA features to build informative, well-documented, open-source code.
    • Maintain and improve the infrastructure used to document, test, and release the samples.
    As NVIDIA continues to develop the CUDA ecosystem, our team produces examples used by developers to learn about new features and programming models. You will coordinate with a broad cross section of teams to deliver samples for features from driver, math libraries, deep learning, and more.What we need to see:
    • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related areas.
    • 3 years of experience developing robust applications.
    • Experience writing CUDA-C code.
    • Detailed knowledge of C required, as well as familiarity with C required.
    • Proven skill in a scripting language (Perl, Python, or otherwise).
    • Passion for writing user-facing documentation and educational code.
    • Be self-motivated, have strong interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently with multiple teams with minimal direction.
    Ways to stand out from the crowd:
    • Familiarity with software build systems such as make and Microsoft Visual Studio.
    • Experience working on open-source products.
