You have worked on projects covering transformation of an enterprise class product to cloud.You understand build & release aspects of enterprise level products in the classic on-prem, as well as in the new paradigm of cloud hosted products.You have a good understanding of a heterogeneous lab env consisting of several different infra form factors & OS.You love prototyping constantly to improvise workflows, envision and develop toolset. Required qualifications & skills include:

  • MS/BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field of study with 3 years of relevant experience in Automation focused DevOps field
  • Experience with Test Automation on cloud-based enterprise class products
  • True understanding of KPIs of cloud hosted product (elasticity, security, cost-optimization)
  • Deep understanding of Cloud (Azure/AWS) & its micro services architecture.
  • Experience with PaaS technologies and Containers like Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming in Python.
  • Experience on automation framework like, Robot Framework or any in house developed automation framework.
  • Experience in Continuous Development / Continuous Integration based fast paced agile based development
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to self-manage time, priorities and exhibit a comfort/mastery of juggling multiple tasks, dedication to Service oriented nature of the job and be excited to help make engineering easy.
  • Enterprise level Version Control System like GIT/Stash, AccuRev, Perforce
  • Must be a good team player.
Desired skills include:
  • Experience in Perl scripting.
  • Full understanding of file systems, storage and cloud technologies, emerging standards and engineering best practices
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Knowledge of operating Systems: LINUX/UNIX Object Oriented Language Agile Process
  • CM frameworks such as Jenkins
  • Experience of REST APIWeb Services level testing
