Over 820 million active monthly consumers and are enabled on 2B+ devices around the world with Helpshift.Some numbers which illustrate our scale:* 85k/rps* 30ms response time* 300 GB data transfer/hour* 1000 VMs deployed at peakAbout the Team:If you have ever used any messaging product, you can imagine the complexity of building such an application at the scale of 100s of millions of active users per month ! Now imagine building a messaging application which is also talking to a JIRA like ticketing system and the huge challenge of managing state while giving the user a smooth chat experience. Now throw in the fact that since we are an SDK, we dont use any off-the-shelf third party libraries to build all of these complexities. And we are installed on more than 2 Billion mobile devices. The Consumer Experiences team solves these challenges and more.About the Role:

  • Work with the rest of the team in developing product features that get delivered to 2B+ monthly active users.
  • Contribute to developing and enriching the end-to-end automation suite that drives our regression testing efforts.
  • Develop tooling and scripts which automate frequently occurring tasks to help increase dev productivity
  • Work on plugins for Helpshifts products for Gaming engines like Unity and Cocos2dx
  • Write unit tests for critical components of the SDK code
  • Write code and review
About You:
  • 2 to 3 yrs of experience in developing applications for the iOS platform.
  • Knowledge of Posix compliant Operating Systems (we develop on Mac OS X).
  • Thorough knowledge of CS fundamentals: Data structures, Time complexity of algorithms.
  • Knowledge of Object-oriented principles.
  • Knowledge of the Objective-C and/or Swift programming language
  • Knowledge of web technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Comfortable using CLI tools for achieving day-to-day tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of a distributed version control tool is a plus - we use Git.
Nice to have
  • Good understanding of ReactJS and Redux.
  • Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and Gulp.
  • Experience in working with popular mobile SDKs.
