Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements. Write functional and technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. Completes all the required documentation and procedures. Trains and communicates with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application. May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences. Other related duties assigned as needed.What you bring:Knowledge / Experience

  • Excellent understanding of SDLC.
  • Hands-on experience and excellent understanding and knowledge of C, Pointers and Data Structures.
  • Hands-on experience and excellent understanding and knowledge Pro*C and Advance Pro*C, RDBMS Concepts.
  • Experience and Understanding of Query Optimization is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience on LINUX / UNIX environment.
  • Knowledge of the financial services marketplace.
  • Excellent trouble shooting and analytical skills.
  • Readiness to work on proprietary languages.
  • Experience on FORTRAN, PL1 will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
Competencies
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communicator ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
  • Attention to detail track record of authoring high quality documentation.
  • Organized approach manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
  • Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team.
