This is opening for Technology Development Center in our Pune location. We have exciting growth plans for the Technology Development center and partners (employees). We are looking for bright minds eager to collaborate with overseas counterparts in delivering technology solutions to some of the most complex business problems. We are inviting applications from enthusiastic and dynamic software professionals to be part of Northern s Technology organization. Major Duties

• Direct, oversee and plan the development and testing activities of team members.
• Provide mentoring and advice to team members.
• Coordinate development activities with other teams, including business partners.
• Interact with project and application stakeholders.
• Provide metrics and reports on development status.
• Review requirements and ensure software is developed in alignment with Bank standards, best practices and performance requirements.
• Understand, define, estimate, develop, test, deploy and support change requests.
• Work with and influence bank-wide architecture, design & development and security standards.
• Identify and manage the impact of any faults or issues.
• Work with application, infrastructure, messaging, and data teams to identify and resolve support issues.

Candidate must have

• 6+ years of experience in Object Oriented Programming using C# / .NET4.5.
• 3+ years of experience of technologies such as PL/SQL with Oracle 12 and Linux.
• Experience with Solace messaging would be an advantage.
• Financial sector activities would be an advantage.

Preferred/ Recommended:

• Considerable development exposure to Unix/Linux/Windows, Message Queue (or Solace Message Routing) integration, Atlassian suite (JIRA, Bamboo, Sonar and Checkmark) development technologies.
• Linux scripting experience preferable.
• Candidate should aware of CI/CD process and tools (Jira, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Nexus, ServiceNow and Release Automation)

General Requirements

• Fluent written & verbal English.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills are required.
• Experience of analysis, documentation and implementation of critical business solutions, utilizing many technologies, over tight business defined time-scales, using common software development life cycle methodologies is required.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
• Willingness to explore/learn new technologies and adapt to future development directions.
• Self-starter and works effectively with minimal direction
• The ability to work successfully as part of a team and independently is required.
• Investment management technologies experience would be an advantage.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude is a vital part of this role, as is flexible approach to work in EMEA hours, follow EMEA holidays and if supports needs on weekends.

Experience

• 7+ years of overall industry experience
• 2+ years experience of working in agile teams
• A minimum of 2 full system development life cycle implementations
• Progressive experience as a senior developer in large IT projects
