Job Description

    Position title: Sr. Design Engineer (Automation Industry)Qualifications (requirements):1. Bachelor degree2. At least 3-5 years of relevant industry work experience.3. Good communication skills, interpersonal coordination skills and teamwork skills4. Effective cooperation with people at all levels of the relevant departments5. Have good ethical standards6. Good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skillsDepartment/ Location: DesignQualification(s): Years of Experience in Design FieldReporting to: HODKEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:1. Strong 3d making with simulation skill2. Knowledge of properties of materials3. Design and development of mechanical components from concept through production4. Responsible to complete design assembly drawings and details part drawings.5. Interaction with customers attending the DAP.6. Prepare documentation of the machine such as machine manual, spare, and wear part list.7. Should be able to do cycle time calculation.8. Engineering process and cutting tools knowledge9. Familiar with heat treatment processes10. Should know WCM standards11. Idea of assembly sequences12. Controls over parameters13. Maximum std B/O parts usability14. Machine specifications as per machining feasibility15. Selection and machinability of materials16. Types of surface coating operations and its durability17. Strong conceptual thinking towards lorc [location, orientation, resting, clamping,]18. Modification and alteration skills in emergency trouble shooting19. Saving data in proper traceable manner with revision history20. Solid modeling skills against physical sample parts21. Habit of sketching with rough concepts on paper before start22. Self-justification skill regarding critical assemblies23. Eye towards budgetary controls24. Eye towards stipulated time plan25. Calculation skills[ engineering ]26. Leadership quality with communication skill27.
