What you will doCFD Engineer/Sr. Engineer has to construct and solve advanced, high-quality CFD models of JCI for Air systems products.Through this analysis provide recommendations to improve design, performance and reduce cost of the equipment and systems.How you will do itCFD modelling of different HVAC equipment including thermal and ventilation analysis using thermal energy equations, flow equation and species equations.Predict performance of the equipment and its partWrite reports summarizing the analysis and recommendation using standard report formatsDevelop standard analysis procedures and practices for all analyses performedCoordinate with different teams for necessary product changesAccountability of all CFD projects executed at IECTraining and technical mentoring of the team What we look forRequiredM.E./M.Tech Mechanical/Thermal Engineering from a recognised university(IITs and NITs, preferred with specialisation in Computational Fluid Dynamics)Minimum 4-5 years of experience in CFD modelling and analysis preferable in HVAC industry (Air Systems Products)Exposure to project management techniquesMinimum 6-7 years of experience in case of B.E./B.Tech from top universitiesKnowledge of HVAC equipment with Air Systems products like AHU, Diffusers, Dampers, Grilles, Louvers etc.Knowledge of AMCA, ANSI, ASHRAE standardsAbility to create advanced high quality CFD models, analysis and provides recommendations to improve design , performance and reduce cost of the equipment and systemsProficient in CFD packages like Ansys Workbench 17.0/18.0 and HypermeshKnowledge of Pro-E/Creo, Inventor, Solidworks is an added advantagePreferredWe are looking for gender diversity for this roleEarly joiners will be preferred,
