Job Description

Looking for a developer having strong Hadoop Big Data skills with a proven record of delivery on major software projects. Will be working in the design, development and enhancement to a new application within Data Lake that drives reporting for Third Party Governance within the bank. Will have to work with other developers in India, providing guidance and support for enhancing analytics capabilities and improve security and data governance (i.e. around quality, data catalog, and data lineage) around the management of data stored in data lake. Will be creating API s, enhancing Data Transformation, providing reconciliation/monitoring, and Developing/Reviewing Code.Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of big data technology stack such as Cloudera Hadoop Ecosystem that includes HDFS, Spark, Hive, and Impala
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python and Java
  • Great Analytical and Communication skills
  • Great problem solver and self-starter
  • Nice-to-have Skills
    • Kafka, Airflow, Restful API design and development, Reporting/BI tool such as Microsoft Power BI
