Job Description

Job Role & ResponsibilityProduct Design

  • Responsibility for refining existing platform dashboards and their elements
  • Responsible for creating new elements and product interfaces as required
  • Responsible for participating in design research activities as required, such as facilitating usability testing
  • Partner with developers and create user friendly designs
  • Collaborate on interaction designs
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients
  • Create, manage, and be an advocate for Robobai-style documentation
  • Embed the required tooling, technologies and work practices
  • Learn new skills and stay abreast of technical and digital design developments and successfully apply these to work practices to help improve processes and procedures.
Product Delivery Support
  • Responsible for working with development team members during delivery to ensure proper implementation of design patterns
  • Participate in design research activities to ensure product vision and delivery alignment, and to help address design issues
Marketing Support
  • Providing support to the Marketing team by translating and applying any branding requirements into the platform Design system as required
Skills
  • 5 years in a software product-based experience design role
  • Ability to interpret design briefs and client goals into concepts and shape exceptional experiences and collateral with a strong eye for aesthetics and design
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
  • Experience working in a creative environment across a number of business areas
  • Willingness to pitch in and support other workmates within the company
  • Good time management skills with consideration of deadlines and budgets
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and jQuery, including browser compatibility and accessibility issues and standards is a bonus
