Job Description

*EEEC FUNCTIONAL AREA: The Financial Analyst to support financial planning and analysis for one of the business unit in Europe World Area. PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Job responsibilities to include but, not limited to -

  1. Understand basic accounting practices followed by project business & sales offices in Europe
  2. Conduct month end checks on Projects in execution (EAC movements, Loss Accruals and Cost Corrections) and ensure correct revenue recognition is followed as per corporate policies (CP&P)
  3. Summarise month end balance sheet reconciliations. Follow up with sites on aged items in reconciliations.
  4. Analyse P&L by country on monthly basis and perform variance analysis. Provide executive summary on the variances to management
  5. Prepare inventory/stock profit elimination at month end
  6. Review and analyse month end segment reporting (Product Group Reporting, KOB reporting etc.)
  7. Participate in monthly forecasting (POR) process developing Short & Long Term P&L.
  8. Provide input to European management by assessing risk/opportunities at country level
  9. Support strategic analysis and audit queries on adhoc basis
  1. Preparation of financial packs & dashboards for multiple stakeholders maintaining Accuracy and Consistency in a timely manner
  2. Maintain and foster good team relationships with operations and finance team in different locations
  3. Ensuring compliance with US GAAP as per Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines and corporate policies (CP&P)
  1. Devise plans to improve efficiency of the team deliverables. Maintain/Improvise the quality of the team deliverables.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Accounting Skills
  • Sub-ledger accounting in ERP System
  • Knowledge of reporting tools Hyperion/Smartview is an advantage
