Job Description

    In today s highly competitive private equity market, firms must not only deliver superior returns, but also respond to more stringent reporting requirements and increasing demands for information both from within and outside their organization. Throughout the industry there is mounting pressure on organizations to do more, requiring a clear technology strategy that not only addresses the demands of today, but also enables the growth and performance of tomorrow. What you will be doing
    • They should be able to independently drive elaboration discussions with internal and external Product Management group to define the requirements. They should be able to research on topic and identify the right solution.
    • They can also contribute to practice initiatives.
    • Understand the business need, problem or opportunity and business solution.
    • Elicit the requirements from product management product team (Product owners) and document it.
    • Analyze and document functional requirements (user stories/ FRDs/ SRDs).
    • Perform impact analysis for Change Requests and Defects.
    • Conduct gap analysis of as-is and to-be system functionality.
    • Drive the Pre-UAT testing.
    • Work with Product Engineering team to conduct requirements walkthrough sessions.
    • Deliver the artefacts as per defined timelines. Inform the Scrum Master/ Project Managers on the issues or risks foreseen.
    • Identify dependencies and communicate them to dependent teams.
    • Follow the requirements best practices like scope model, domain entity model, wireframes, workflow diagrams, tool discussion boards.
    • Adhere to project guidelines and framework for artefact delivery. Lead Team for successful delivery and project timelines for client success.
    • Guide and mentor analysts in the project team.
    • Influence on business solutions and requirement scope.
    What you bring: Knowledge / Experience:
    • 6+yrs of experience in working as Business analyst
    • Domain Exposure: Accounts Receivables is a must
    • Experience in writing User Stories
    • UI/UX wireframing/diagramming skills
    • Strong exposure in requirement gathering
    • Good understanding of database
    • Understanding of the client/server communication model
    • Exposure in interacting product owner and development team
    • Proficient with basic MS Office tools Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
    • Experience in Agile
    • Excellent communicator ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
    • Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%)
