This BSA position will be responsible for multiple business areas, requiring them to work closely with the business to understand their processes and the systems they use to do their job. The BSA needs excellent communication skills to work with business stakeholders and strong analytical skills. These skills will be key in order to understand and ask key questions to identify process improvements, streamlining, gather detailed requirements and work with the development team to design a solution.The business areas you will be working with:Global Procurement, Contingent Worker Management, Expense Management, Enterprise Risk, Compliance & Ethics, Internal Audit & Controls,Intellectual Property, Litigation ,Contracts & Transaction Law ,Privacy LawPrimary Roles and Responsibilities:Oversee various business processes and Applications such as (Oracle, FieldGlass, Concur, Teammate, etc.) If you are not familiar with these applications, you will need the willingness to learn them and to become a SME (Subject Matter Expert).Daily interaction with key business stakeholdersResponsible for Application configurations, maintenance work, and enhancing processesCoordinates with business sponsors/users for requirements, discuss issues, etc.Work directly with the development team to build solutions, discuss requirements, testing solutions, etc.Gather detailed requirements, produce business requirement documents (BRDs)Manage requirements in RallyDevelop detailed test plans/scriptsConduct, lead, manage UAT and resultsEffectively coordinate project activities at the direction of managementMonitor applications / programs to ensure effective administration and growth.Effectively plan, coordinate, and execute prioritized initiatives.Participate in cross-functional project teams to ensure timelines and milestones are met.Provide management with weekly/monthly/quarterly metrics surrounding applicationsAd-Hoc reporting needsActively participate in assigned projects / InitiativesMonitor best practices and key performance indicatorsAttend weekly status meetings and provide updatesAttend and lead scrum meetingsAnalytical skills required to question processes, ask the why questions, challenge the team to think outside the boxExperience/ Qualifications:Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related to1-3 years as a Business Systems AnalystFlexibility and willing to learn new business processes and new systems0-2 years working with Oracle E-Business Suite (nice to have, if not, need the willingness to learn Oracle)0-2 years working with FieldGlass and/or Contingent Worker processes (nice to have, if not, need the willingness to learn Fieldglass)0-2 years working with Legal Management processes and systems (nice to have, if not need the willingness to learn)It is the policy of BMC Software to afford equal opportunity for employment to all individuals regardless of race, color, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, history of disability, ancestry, citizenship status, political affiliation, religion, gender, transgender, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, status as a parent, sexual orientation, veteran status, genetic information or other factors prohibited by law, and to prohibit harassment or retaliation based on any of these factors.
