Job Description

BU/Product Description & Job Overview/Role of the candidate:A GP Staff Sourcing Analyst assists and supports a specific area of supply chain management, e.g., Services procurement, contracting sourcing, materials, logistics, or process development. Depending on the candidate s level of experience, s/he will be asked to process contracts and purchase agreements for a given category or sub-category. S/he is expected to apply existing technology, procedures, principles, and analytical rules to routine assignments. An Analyst works closely with business partners to ensure timely delivery of appropriate solutions and solves problems that typically require the application of technical knowledge, concepts, principles, and analytical rules.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Graduate with 1-4 years of experience (Preference- Bachelor of Engineering / MBA in operations)
  • Should have worked on Oracle / SAP for PO creation, requisition monitoring.
  • At least 1-year experience in independently negotiating in the following categories.
  • IT Peripherals, Telecom, Networking, Hardware, facilities, HR Services, Legal
  • Willingness to ask for concessions & Stakeholder management.
  • Know-how of contract management modalities like NDA s, POC s, Data protection agreement, SOX controls, GDPR DPA s, global legal clauses related to contracts.
  • Understand key concepts in supplier risk management. An added advantage for knowledge in North America region & EU Region clauses.
  • Aware of maintenance renewals and processing those renewals on track.
  • Understand volume bundling, multi-year engagements, run-rate savings, cost avoidance negotiation tactics.
  • Understanding asset disposals and aware of waste management procurement modalities such as inviting for bids, comparison, auctions.
  • Possess analytical acumen and conduct spend analysis. Liaison with stakeholders to incorporate seasonal demands to meet targets/ SLA s.
  • Good written & verbal communication skills, Strong analytical skills, good command over Microsoft excel spreadsheets with spend analysis and working with pivots.
Qualification:
  • Engineering background preferable
  • CPSM / APICS CSCP certification will be a good value add.
  • Postgraduate - preferably MBA in supply chain/operations.
  • Required Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint usage skill
  • Experience 1-2 years in indirect procurement
  • Willingness to handle the volume of purchasing contract administration
Desired (Good to have skills):
  • Thorough understanding of contract management MSA and SOW
  • GDPR contract negotiations experience
  • experience in Oracle R12 procurement and purchasing module
  • hands-on experience on MicroStrategy
