Job Description

*ResponsibilitiesDevelop various Analytics related to Supply Chain Cost, Cash, Quality, Speed, Capacity which will help Global Supply Chain Organization to improve overall supply chain effectivenessUse various Statistical Methods & Tools like Advance Excel, Tableau, Power BI to provide the various Analytics to Supply chain leadership team for Decision Making, Strategic Actions and Strategic PlanningInteracts with global supply teams & supply leadership and efficiently & innovatively manages supply data systems, new project initiatives etc.Create and provide the Supply Chain Analytical reports to Emerson ISV leadership team by using Tableau and Advance Excel, on monthly basis to take necessary strategic actions.Benchmark Best In Class Analytics and Business Intelligence practices, to implement at Emerson Isolation Valve.Develop and maintain key performance metrics and benchmark reports relating to supply chain performanceAnalyze purchasing-related information including material purchases, receipts, cost, purchase price variance, and supplier performanceFocus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through supply chain processEstablish process, system and templates that provide a comprehensive overview of key information regarding RDSL (Requested Delivery Service Level), Cost Saving, Inflation, DPO, Lead Time, HCC/BCC etc. that create common understanding among members of supply chain teams.Design/Creates KPI Data Visualization Reports for Supply Chain Leadership and carry out proactive Analytics with actionable insightsEvaluates large volume of supply/logistics raw data which is scattered across multiple files and gathers relevant information to perform insightful Data AnalyticsComfortable in fulfilling ad-hoc & sudden data analytical requirements from supply management and completes the assigned tasks with a sense of urgency and pro-activenessEnsure On Time Delivery & Error Free (Zero Error s) of Supply Chain KPI reports, Scorecards, Dashboard s & Analytics reportsConducts orientation/ user training sessions to global supply teams on supply systems as & when necessaryUnderstand how supply chain metrics relate to each other and the overall goals of the business unitAnalyze, optimize and standardize supply chain reporting processes at each global site. Utilize SAP, MIN and other tools to assure effective processes are useManage the Reporting & Analytics activities of the Global Supply Chain team which includes but not limited to: o Data Prep for Gathering, Normalizing, Reporting & Analytics o Inflation Model (IM) o Project Tracker o Cost Savings and Inflations o Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) o Lead Time o HCC / BCC, Regionalization o AD HOC reporting o 245C Reporting o Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Dashboard, *Desired Educational Qualification Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business required. MBA preferred. Min 8 to 10 Years of Experience with Subject Matter Expertise and Hands On Experience in Advance Excel, Data Analytics, Tableau , Latest Analytics tools and Reporting. Advanced proficiency in Power BI or Tableau based Supply Chain Data Analytics. Proven work history of Excel to Power BI/Tableau Dashboard migration is a must. Proficiency in SQL or MS Access is required. Excel VBA (Excel Macros ) script writing skills are desirable. Big Data Management and Analytics Excellent computer skills and a technical aptitude that includes strong data gathering skills, expertise, interpretation, and reporting for the Supply Chain organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in data analysis and management (Advance Excel, Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, PowerPoint, SQL). Project management skills required. Project management certification preferred. Strategic sourcing methodology, supply chain management, contracting, procurement, and supplier management acumen knowledge required. Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP & Oracle. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Purchasing / Procurement / Supply Chain Data Analytics experience.
