• Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents large and/or complex Ansible playbooks and Ansible playbooks modifications from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result.
• Create/modify Ansible playbooks for installation and setup of various Software stack including: Oracle Grid Infrastructure, Oracle Database, IBM Middleware, Oracle Middleware products, AWS, etc.
• Building new physical and VM servers
• Working with complex Puppet configurations in large infrastructure environments
• Take ownership of new initiatives and defining requirements and acceptance criteria for Proof of Concepts and taking suitable solutions into Test, Pre-Production, and up to Production environments.
• Deliver all solutions with an automation first approach that reduces and ultimately removes the need for any manual intervention for builds and deployments ensuring consistency and speed for all environment delivery and change.
• Generating innovative solutions in work situations; applying out of the box thinking and challenging the status quo in dealing with work problems and opportunities
• Mentoring and training of engineers as required
• Define, develop and maintain documentation knowledgebase
• Proactively identify improvements and enhancements to working practices
• Compliance with incident resolution best practice
• Ability to work within an agile environment
• Ability to support 3rd line recovery actions working with BAU teams

Provides 24 x 7 on-call support for all assigned production-related systems. Develops and executes scripts, utilities and associated test plans. Scripts may modify data that is not updateable via user interface. May conduct code-level software analyses to identify root cause of bugs and/or system modifications as needed. Interfaces with internal clients, vendors, managers, IT and Product Development to resolve problems. Analyzes problem, documents and communicates resolution and conducts follow up. Escalates problems to appropriate teams when necessary. Assists in documenting current policies and procedures. Represents team on cross-functional teams for production, support and development activities. Performs specialty production processing. Learns, understands, implements and utilizes SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) and security regulations. Performs monthly and quarterly SOX testing. Interacts with internal departments to deliver solutions. Interprets and presents data and conclusions to management as needed. Improve methodologies used in the job. Other related duties assigned as needed.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Develops and designs effective system-generated reports. Prepares detailed analyses of processes and procedures. Performs operational analyses of procedures.
