Job Description

    The QA Team Lead will lead a small team of QA Analysts, responsible for the quality assurance of a largeenterprise product. Additional responsibilities will include quality assurance of customisation & endcustomer projects.The primary role is to manage a small team of QA analysts (5-6), to ensure QA tasks are completed in a timely fashion, to a suitable level of quality, and conforming to the group development standards and processes. The QA tasks will cover a large enterprise product developed using a range of technologies, including .NET, Java and a proprietary BPM toolkit. As such, the Team Leader is expected to have a broad understanding of enterprise technical solutions covering a range of technologies, and be proficient in testing enterprise architecture systems and automation techniques. The Team Leader will be responsible for designing the QA environments and processes required, and for the continual measurement and improvement of the team s processes and output.The QA team will work alongside other teams in India, UK, Canada and US, so while the role will primarily be based in India, international travel will be a common part of the role and excellent written and spoken English is essential.Responsibility Setting up QA environments, processes, test plans, and scripts.Ensuring the QA tasks for the enhancement of a large enterprise product are completed by the team in a timely and correct mannerPlanning and documenting testing coverage levelsResource assignment and line managementEnsuring QA tasks for customisation and project delivery tasks are completed by the team in a timely and correct mannerMaintain up-to-date documentation of all work tasks and processesContinually measure performance of the team and quality of the team s output, propose improvements where necessaryAdded AdvantageGood to have knowledge in Web Services Testing, Security TestingQualification (Education/Skill and Experience for the jobTechnical Solid understanding of the software testing discipline Substantial experience in testing large scale software systems Knowledge of common testing patterns and automation techniques Experience of leading a small team of testers Beneficial knowledge of working with a UK/US based remote development groupOther Well organised Verbal communication skills Written communication skills Able to grasp full technical understanding of software tools and systems quicklyCharacter Quick to learn Team player Creative Flexible Must be prepared to travel overseas when the need arises,
