What you will doIn this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of product development for meeting global HVAC standards, performing complex design analysis, and evaluating engineering designsHow you will do it:Have in-depth understanding of HVAC components, functionality, design and development processUnderstand the HVAC design standards, regulatory requirements(Seismic, Wind Rating, CSA, Building Codes) quality, reliability and performance.Coordinate with production team for necessary product changes and timely implementationHands on familiarity with engineering best practices for e.g., Simulation, CAD, FMEA s, NPD, VAVE, Design Reviews, Manufacturing ReviewsUnderstand refrigeration product testing, verification and validation and engineering change processWhat we look for:RequiredBE/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech- Mechanical Engineering 10+ years of experience in Mechanical system design and development in HVAC products Understand the mechanical and overall system design requirementsKnowledge of Psychrometric, Thermodynamics & Refrigeration cycle, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning system and Components (compressor, heat exchanger, fans and blowers , refrigerants, construction material , safety and control devices etc,.)Knowledge of DFMEA and GD&T, Six Sigma, Reliability and QualityKnowledge of refrigeration system design, simulation and selection tool/softwareGood project management skills and foster a culture of innovation in the team. ,
