Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesTechnical Manager - Job Responsibilities

  • Providing technical services to the Broiler, Country Chicken (Desi Bird, Gavran etc.,) and layer customers.
  • Training & Assisting the sales manager in terms of techno-commercial aspects to promote feeds effectively.
  • Record keeping of complete data of the farms visited.
  • Preparation of the report after farm visit and to be shared with the nutritionist to take corrective measures, if any.
  • Conducting farmers meeting in different areas.
  • Conducting knowledge series amongst the sales officers every month to make them technically strong.
  • Collection of feed samples/organ samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Competitor farms visit and submitting reports.
  • Providing solution to customer queries in person /over phone. Performing postmortem of the birds, diagnosis, and treatment to be recommended.
  • Dealer visit and/or farmer visit/ poultry consultant visit
  • Monitor feed indent placed by each sales person including that of own
  • Coordinate with Plant production & A/c to ensure timely delivery of feed
Desired Candidate ProfileMinimum requirements: Bachelors/ Masters in Veterinary Science. Minimum experience 1- 2 years from Poultry sector is a must. Candidate must be willing to travel extensively.
