Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Analyze customer data and requirements
  • Ability to recognize data elements from text files, index, and organize to integrate with dynamic print and mail document composition applications
  • Ability to integrate document composition applications
  • Cooperate within existing system models and procedures
  • Manage forms, images, fonts and other resources
  • Interact effectively and positively with clients, programmers, sales, project managers, operations and other departments to assure success of client applications
  • Support off-the-shelf and custom internal systems
  • Other duties as needed
Competencies for Success include the following:
  • General knowledge of computer operating systems and software
  • Languages: Strong Familiarity with Oracle, PL/SQL, Visual Basic, VB.NET and C#
  • Software: Strong familiarity with Exstream Dialogue, PL/SQL, Microsoft Access, Oracle, Solimar Print Director, BCC Postal Software, Elixir, Adobe Photoshop/Acrobat,
  • Strong familiarity with Web application development
  • Formats: ASCII, Record, PostScript, PCL, XML/HTML
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Database creation and maintenance
  • Communication skills, typing
  • Willingness to perform basic technical and physical tasks
Qualifications, Skills, & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science (Preferred)
  • Articulate in computer software languages
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Computer Programming
