Job Description

Job DescriptionPosition Overview: Candidate shall be BE mech with 8 ~ 12 years experience in Mechanical automobile design with exceptional skills in CATIA V5/ Mechanism design /diecasting /Plastics part design and customer handling .Must have handled FORD / VW / Renault Nissan / Maruti Suzuki / Daimler /PSA /FCAEssential Job Functions

  1. Candidate should closely cordinate with external and internal customer for the design of product ensuring cost, quality and customer requirnment as per project timeline.
  2. Candidate should be capcable of leading a team of Mechanics developer for design activity.
  3. Candidate should be able to perform design calulation essential for product design.
  4. Candidate should have advanced knowledge in CATIA 5 -Kinematics-DMU - Diecasting /sheetmetal /plastic parts -Drawing- Assembly.
  5. Candidate should have sound knowledge regarding geometric dimensioning and tolerance standards ,GPS.
  6. Candidate should have a good experience in the area of designing mechanical components and related production processes (casting,injection molding, etc.)
  7. Candidate should be of aware of Global automotive requirements and regulation.
  8. Candidate should have a good knowledge of DFMEA,DFA, DFM tools.
  9. Candidate should be able to provide technical solutions during the product development phase.
  10. Candidate should execute requirements, claim and risk management capabilities.
  11. Candidate should be aware of change management.
  12. Candidate should be aware of working in the PDM/PLM tool.
