Job Description

    VP Finance- With one of ARA reputed client in Pune we have an opportunity for VP Finance role. Please find below the details for the same.- The purpose of this role is to streamline, lead, contribute and direct the team to fulfil the finance responsibilities across wider horizon for both domestic and international markets and entities of the company.- The VP, Finance will take the responsibility for planning and controlling of all the financial related activities on day-to-day basis.- The finance activities will include direct accountability for accounting, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, cost optimization, deal analysis, taxation, audit, treasury & investment, consolidation and reporting, investor relations, and compliances.- The position will report into Sr. VP and Head, Finance directly and will play a pivotal role in streamlining the finance processing, functioning, and formulating the future strategies in line with the company mission / goals.- The role will be heavily responsible for compliances with statutory and external regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities : - Provides leadership to the key short-term and long-term development and acts as strategic and business partner in actively participating in the strategy formation and planning.- Designs and implements the processes, develops policies, and streamlines the functioning of the unit.- Develop the risk control framework in line with the ICFR for all finance processes and establishes the risk monitoring mechanism.- Evaluate and recommend to the top management on long-term planning, impact of key business initiatives, strategies, and regulatory changes. - Assist in preparing the annual budgets, develop a solid cash flow projection, monitors the same on ongoing basis, design and share ideas of cost-benefiting and various strategies based on market and industry changes/evolution- Manage the process for financial book-closure, consolidation and reporting and provide recommendations on budget variances, remedies, and decisions to improve the financial performances and key statistics.- Assist in preparing management reports to enable decision making by the committee, board and management evaluate business outcomes and company strategies.- Manage the cash flow and forecast the working capital requirement. Assist in decision on the investment of idle cash thru right instruments, assets, and treasury guidance- Ensure cost management by analyzing in-depth about the key cost drivers, spend control for both capex and opex for all entities spread across domestic and international market- Prepare financial statements for all entities across the globe, consolidate at the parent level and ensure the statutory reporting, filing, and preparation of the board deck are duly completed within the scheduled timeline.- Responsible for data analysis, metrics and long-term views, impact analysis and scenario modelling.- Along with the external consultants, ensure all statutory filings, tax filing, regulatory reporting details are submitted correctly within the stipulated time as necessitated by the various government bodies. - Assist and guide the team with all the supporting documents for various audit (both internal and external) and consult with the Audit Committee as necessary.- Consult with the Product development team to assess, guide and account for the spends for product development including capex in compliance with the permitted accounting rules.- Ensure highest form of credibility and integrity in the finance performance, trends, forecasts, and monitoring.- Consult with the cross-functional team and assist in analyzing the sales pipeline, gap, forecast, and deriving the remedial steps to improve and financial projection. - Establish strong inter-personal relationship with the stakeholders and provide suitable business solutions.- Lead, contribute and direct team in all functions of finance and accounting and set comprehensive KPIs for performance and growth. Develops balance score card for own and the team in alignment with the larger goal of the Company.- Provide leadership and guide in performance management, team development, talent management, inculcating discipline, and behavioral change, and building a work environment conducive to high performance and employee satisfaction.- Perform any other goals such as implementing new ERP, Policy formation, and other key initiatives as determined and assigned by the management from time to time.Main stakeholder interactions :- Internal customers (senior management and business team)- Performance reporting and guide on budgeting; Operational control and management- Regulatory bodies - Statutory reporting, Tax filings, Compliance (SEZ, Labour)- Internal and External auditors - facilitate audit and reporting- Board of Directors / Committee - Reporting, Strategy formation, Budgeting, Treasury, Capital Investment. Skills and background : - Qualified CA or MBA (Finance) with 15+ years working experience in all function of finance with 5-10 years in business finance role- 5+ years must be in a senior management position in IT/ITES industry.- International business exposure - either worked outside of India or managed stakeholders outside India.- Stakeholders management - Board, investors, auditors, and cross-functional leadership. - Proven leadership and people skills in a multicultural, multi-geography, dynamic & complex environment.- Possesses Excellent oral and written communication skills along with critical thinking, analytical skills.,
