Job Description

    DescriptionWe are looking for talented and motivated professionals who are interested in delivering the latest in Security & Threat modeling using cutting-edge technologies in a culture that encourages autonomous productive teams. Be a part of Qualys global Security, a team of software engineers innovating Security in the next generation of Qualys Technology Platform. This position is for the Qualys Pune development center.What you get to doYou will get to team up with highly talented and highly motivated engineers and architects innovating the next generation of Qualys Technology PlatformAs a part of this team, you will be working in a fast-paced environment prototyping, designing, developing, and supporting a highly scalable Security & Threat modeling platform that checks the Security posture of thousands of endpoints.Responsibilities:
    • Design, implement the next generation of Threat Modeling endpoint products on a distributed, scalable, high-performance malware detection platform.
    • Produce high-quality software with a scalable architecture solid design principles
    Qualifications:
    • 6 - 9 years of software product development experience
    • Excellent programming and designing skills in C++ on Windows
    • Good understanding of object-oriented software development, windows internals, advanced windows debugging, win32 programming, windbg.
    • Good understanding of user-mode / kernel-mode windows functioning, fluency in using unit testing frameworks, Automation, Multithreading, DLL, kernel objects
    • Good understanding of Secure coding practices
    • Good understanding of basic operating system fundamentals
    • Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
    Additional Skills Desired:
    • Experience in endpoint security, antivirus engines, malware
    • Experience Of Software Development On Linux using C/C++ .
    • Good understanding of Security software development lifecycle
    • Good understanding of Python
    • Has worked in an Agile / Sprint development model.
