Job Description

    This position will be part of a talented team that is responsible for the growth, ongoing maintenance and development of a large infrastructure. - The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with strong work habits and have strong foundations in Windows operating system. - Automating the OS provisioning, tools deployment, monitoring and metrics and other tasks for day to day operations - Maintaining, Supporting and Deploying servers using the following platforms: Microsoft windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016), Active Directory (2008, 2012, 2016,2019), VMware 5.0 or higher) - Shall be able to work with other senior staff to recommend and design systems architecture and topology from both general and specific perspectives. - Provide support on an on-call support rotation model Qualifications : - Bachelors computer engineering or equivalent experience in IT. - 7+ years of progressive experience in MS Windows engineering and design capacities. - Deep Understanding of Windows Fundamentals and concepts. - Experience with Windows 2008R2/2012/2016/2019 server OS - Strong Automation Experience with the PowerShell/other scripting or programming/configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Python, Ruby). - Knowledge of TCP/IP, BIND, LDAP and other core technologies such as NTP, TCP/IP, iSCSI, SAN, NAS, DFS, SFTP etc. - Experience in building and automating Windows environments in public cloud - Certification in Windows, Power shell, Azure or cloud will be a Plus - Experience is windows patch management, vulnerability management and remediation. - Experience with security scanning tools such as Nexpose, Qualys, Checkpoint is a plus - IT and Data Center infrastructure knowledge and experience. - Experience with VMWARE virtualizaton - Strong understanding of network and server security including CIS, SSL/TLS, IPSEC, etc. - Excellent troubleshooting skills related to OS, Network and other performance issues - Working knowledge of agile methodologies - Good communication and presentation skills and able to lead/mentor junior members Role: System Analyst Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: IT & Information Security Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: IT Infrastructure Services Education UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Computers PG: Any Postgraduate Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
