Job Description

    Apply now Wintel + Virtualization - L3/L4 Publish Date: Jun 14, 2022Location:Pune, Maharashtra, IN-India Company: Atos Position Title : Wintel Administrator Responsibilities & Requirement: Technical Knowledge (Administration): 1. 9 years of Wintel server administration experience (especially Win 2k8 and Win 2k12) 2. 2-3 years of relevant experience VMware 3.X & 4 Virtualization Technology. 3. Responsible for all day-to-day management of the VMs including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, patching, backup, and recovery. 4. Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of the projects. 5. Good knowledge of VMware products: VMware Infrastructure 3.5 / vSphere 4, Virtual Center 2.5 / vCenter Server 4, and VDI. 6. P2V, V2V and P2P migrations using VMware Converter and Platespin Suite. 7. Troubleshooting ESX host with RCLI. 8. VCB and VMware Data Recovery knowledge will be an additional plus. 9. Knowledge of Microsoft systems including, Active Directory. 10. In depth understanding of supporting technologies: IIS, WINS/DHCP/DNS, Anti-Virus, Systems Management, Optimization Tuning, High Availability configurations (Microsoft Clustering, etc.). 11. Standard / Enterprise / Web / Datacenter / (Core as well as Full) 12. Installation / troubleshooting 13. Stand-Alone / Clusters 14. Microsoft Cluster Services (MSCS) 15. Cluster Administrator 16. Active directory services 2003/2008 servers 17. DNS core troubleshooting 18. DHCP / WINS /IIS/ ISA / SQL /FTP 19. Hardware installation concept of RAID 20. VMware and Storage concept 21. Backups Symantec /VERITAS/Arc serve 22. Patching tools BladeLogic / Opsware/WSUS/Shavlik 23. USD tooling and ITIL concepts 24. File and print server management 25. Network basics 26. Antivirus MacAfee/Symantec 27. Knowledge of local and remote computer system diagnostic tools. 28. Experience with large-scale enterprise projects. 29. Hands on delivery in a client facing environment. 30. Understanding of enterprise datacenter technologies including Networking, Security, TCP/IP, SAN & NAS, physical datacenter practices. Technical Projects Knowledge. 31. Knowledge of methodologies for developing, building, and configuring a system. 32. Understand the storage configuration, LUN creation procedures and policies. 33.
