Ability to understand end to end Regression testing work flow at technology area and platform/product level.
Having Experience and capability in solving failure issues in testing.
Technically sound , to bring in changes, saving both capex and opex for the organisation.
Responsibility to debug the failures, raise SW issues.
Good Result Reporting knowledge covering multiple aspects of testing to give customer confidence on the quality.
High quality debugging skills, ascertaining the reason for failure, distinguish between a SW bug or otherwise precisely.
Working with Development and Test Teams to analyse Test coverage and gaps and debugging the problems.
Preferably have experience with JUNOS.
Test Automation Frameworks, tools and scripting languages (Perl, Python) a must.

BE/ME/MCA in CS/ECE.
Good if candidate is having Juniper/Networking certifications.
8+ years of experience in product test and L2/L3 protocols testing.
Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (ARP, IP, ICMP, IGMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP).
Knowledge on routing protocols like ISIS, OSPF, BGP, QoS, Multicast, MPLS, and VPLS.
Good knowledge in Python, Perl and complex automation.
Good knowledge on the test tools like IXIA, Spirent test equipment s.
Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate problems.
Self-starter with good interpersonal, communication, problem solving skills.
Aptitude to learn new technology quickly and adapt to new feature testing/new assignments faster.
Decent Team player.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Good understanding of testing concepts - metrics, defects life cycle.
Responsibilities include test script execution, data sourcing/data provisioning, defect analysis, and ensuring that proper test result documentation and processes are followed as per the test strategy.
Preferably have experience with Robot Test framework.
