Role: Senior Test Engineer

About the role

7+ Years of experience in Manual in Desktop, Rest API and Web based applications. Should be good team player and ready to work independently.

Key Skills

  • Expertise in Manual testing Desktop, Rest API and web based.
  • Expertise in Agile framework
  • Should have basic to advanced knowledge of SQL and Database
  • Excellent Requirement Analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Follow defined QA processes and best practices
  • Perform all aspects of QA processes to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Self-motivated and self-driven in driving all QA aspects of releases
  • Accurate recording and reporting of software defects and retesting of resolved issues
  • Input into product design to improve testability, and the product as a whole.
  • Evaluate and confirm externally reported software failures in production (Support issues)
  • Methodical approach to executing existing test scripts where applicable
  • Provide input into the test and project release processes, and continuous improvement
  • Capability to develop a strong working relationship with Development team, PO and BA
  • Effective communication of ideas and information, both verbally and in writing
  • Lead and mentor junior QA team members
  • Candidate should have experience working into at-least one of these: Java/C++/C+; VB Script / Jscript / Java Script
  • Hands on working using JIRA

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Security Testing (Acunetix)
  • Knowledge of Performance testing

Nice to have

  • Knowledge or working experience on AWS services
  • Some exposure of working on non-functional requirements
