Job Description

The primary responsibilities of the role include:

  • Lead the conduct ofglobal database studies, including planning study design, data sources and pharmacoepidemiological methods
  • Author protocols, study reports, and other scientific documents withindependent and critical thinking to ensure completeness and quality of deliverables within estimated timelines
  • Review and provide relevant epidemiological input to all study documents including statistical analysis plan and analysis output
  • Provide scientific and methodological expertisein areas including observational study methods, statistical methods, the selection of data sources and measures to ensure studies meet project objectives and regulatory requirements, as applicable
  • Interact as epidemiological expert with external stakeholders
  • Contribute to generating content and direction for business development proposals
  • Manage teams at the project level and/or as a line manager in accordance with organizations policies and applicable regulations
  • Provide appropriate levels of professional development and training including mentorship for juniorstaff
  • Lead and contribute to intra- and interdepartmental process improvement initiatives to achieve operational efficiencies of workflows
