The Worldwide Hyperscaler Marketplace Acceleration team is seeking a resource with business and technical systems knowledge for automating the Azure Hyperscaler Marketplace operation. The candidate will have a passion for SaaS/Hybrid transactional workflows and possess knowledge needed to capture requirements needed for automating from quote to cash. This candidate will be the primary technical resource to the strategy team responsible for defining, driving, and executing VMwares strategy for the Microsoft Azure Hyperscaler Marketplace. The Hyperscaler systems analyst is expected to partner with VMwares Business Units and channel organization to build effective and measurable marketplace strategies. As these strategies come together, this person will be expected to operationalize and scale our offerings in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of business insights, technical Hyperscaler Marketplace experience, channel and distribution experience, SaaS knowledge, along with the ability to influence, collaborate, and drive change within a matrixed organization. Our strategy requires both transformational experience and a strong understanding of the implications of cloud platforms/solutions within the broader channel ecosystem. Responsibilities. . Drive technical conversations related to automating Microsoft Azure Marketplace capabilities. . Collaborate with business units, back-office teams, and Azure Hyperscaler technical team to enhance operational efforts. . Document processes and review technical design for changes or enhancements. . Build a scalable practice for the Azure Spring Apps and other products on the Azure Marketplace . Engage with Product Management teams on a technical level regarding the future state for listing products in Marketplaces. . Execute APIs related task as it relates to the transactional layer in the Hyperscaler Marketplace model. . Evaluate existing APIs and work with operations team to determine if additional data points are needed. . Review business requirements and determine what needs to be included in existing API payloads or if a new API needs to be created. . Collaborate with internal cross teams on API documentation (attributes, values, format). . Provide hyperscaler support including break/fix, reporting, clean-ups, and other technical tasks. . Align with Marketplace Operations team to drive Azure Marketplace automation efforts. . Documentation ownership across all business processes related to Azure Hyperscaler Marketplace. Required Education and Experience . Technical experience with Azure Hyperscaler APIs. . Knowledge in documenting technical requirements for automation. . Experience in channel or distribution/aggregation operations. . Experience in building transactional projects and processes at scale to improve sales productivity through both direct and channel routes to market. . Strong verbal and written communication skills, listening, presentation, and persuasion skills with an ability to represent new ideas and concepts to executives and other influential stakeholders and negotiate consensus effectively in a matrixed environment. .
