Job Description

Description:Exp - 3+ yrs Day shift The candidate is expected to be back in office post-April. Tenure - 6 months now based on performance its extendable Location - Bangalore Summary: The main function of a Test Engineer is to develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes.Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
  • Develop testing Programmes that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.
  • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers Identify, analyse and document problems with Programme function, output, online screen or content Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes Create or maintain databases of known test defects Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
Skills:
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
  • Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology Basic knowledge of computer development software, such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Linux, JavaScript, etc
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required.
  • Should have worked/knowledge on vSphere, any scripting language(core java, selenium, UI automation, linux etc) and basics of Java and automation could be added advantage.
  • Should have knowledge on VMware Cloud or any Public cloud like AWS, AZURE, GCP etc and basic knowledge on docker, kubernetes
Should be able to solve debugging skills
  • This manual (80%) and automation (20%) and automation would be advantage.
  • Understanding of VMware products is good to be shared
