Plan and organise their work and facilitate that of others.ObjectivesThe post holder will be responsible for the following:Actively contribute towards the realisation of our software engineering strategy, application architectureand component design as well as our engineering principals, practices and standards.Perform the engineering work streams and/or projects to quality and timeline in order to meet thedemands of the business, stakeholders and customers alikeDesign the application within the bounds of the tasks allocated to them and those under theirsupervision.Provide work estimates at regular stages throughout the development processPresent technical solutions for review by various functions including product owners, solutionarchitecture, clinical design, information governance and clinical safety.Promote best practice within their team to facilitate the delivery of quality products according to currentagreed levels of quality and standardsSupport innovation within the team to meet the changing demands of the business and emergingindustry trends and standards, such as agile and lean techniquesAssess and appraise team membersCoach and mentor team members to aid continuous improvementIdentify skill, resource and equipment deficiencies within the team including their own.Meet with customers and stakeholders to validate, analyse and examine requirements.RequirementsEssentialAcademic Qualification: B.E/B.Tech, MCA with consistent academic performance from X, XII standardsonwards.Experience: Minimum 6 Years.Strong critical thinking, problem solving, analytical, and design skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood Analytical and Problem-solving skillsHighly experienced in ASP.NET, Web development, .NET stack Advanced levelHands-on experience in building Business applications in:o ASP.NET MVC 5, ASP.NET routingo AJAX technologieso WCF, MS Webservices, SOAP, REST, JSONo ReactJS, Redux, React Hooks, Webpack, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS,Practiced Continuous Integration, TDD, TFS && GITStrong with Database concepts, queries and familiarity in working with MS-SQL ServerKnowledge of Software Design Patterns, InteroperabilityDesirableProfessional CertificationsExposure to OOADExperience in AzureExperience in Unit Testing frameworks like MoQ, TypeMockHands-on experience in designing small/medium sized applications.Experience within healthcare sector.Experience working in Agile teams.Contacts and communicationsTitle: Consultant Controlled document page 3 of 3Saved as: Development ConsultantThe post holder is accountable to the Development Engineering Manager/ DirectorIn order to perform their duties in addition to working alongside other engineers and testers, the post holderwill also be in regular contact with Solution Architects, Project Managers, Product Owners, Deployment,Hosted Services, Support, Training and Health Information personnel and other stakeholders.Policy implementationThe post holder has to comply will all the Policies (Security, Health and Safety, General) issued and updatedfrom time-to-time by the Company.Personnel managementThe post holder has the following management responsibilities:Facilitate, promote and encourage efficient communications between development team membersAdministrationThe post holder is responsible for the following administrative tasks:Reporting on progress, issues and plans for work they are responsible for to their team where requiredMaintain and contributing to the development Wiki with technical best practice/methodsCompletion of any activities required by departmental proceduresSecurity responsibilitiesThe post holder has the following specific security duties:Ensure security of all departmental and project documentationEnsure version control and backup of source code is maintainedEnsure personal backup of important files including E-mail foldersHealth and Safety responsibilitiesThe post holder has the following specific Health and Safety duties:Information processed within the department may be confidential and therefore compliance to the processes inplace to safeguard the security of the information must be adhered to as detailed in EMIS policies anddepartmental work instructions and processes.Regards,Hr Team
