Job DescriptionSoftware consultant will translate functional requirements into system requirementswhile developingapplications for First American, these are typically web based applications developedby adhering tocoding standards and guidelines by following a continuous Build-Integrate-Test(Agile) approach. SoftwareEngineer will have Understanding the software development lifecycle and hasknowledge of the overallapplication development space combined with a basic understanding of the businessand domain. Rolewill build basic code assigned modules and features using available stacks andknowledge ofprogramming languages generally under supervision, will apply standard troubleshooting and debuggingconcepts to achieve speed and efficiency.Software Engineer will understand theAgile manifesto andceremonies, will design and develop basic DB solutions, work with ConfigurationManagement tools toenforce CM practices and processes. Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skillsrequired toView Job Posting Details 01:25 AM06/09/2021Page 1 of 3interact with colleagues including customer, onshore counterpart, supervisors, teammembers, business analysts and business teams.Technical Skills:Should have prior experience in design, develop and maintaining .Net based webapplications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Should have worked on complex, multi-tiered architectural applicationsShould have Experience of Object Oriented programming practices (SOLIDprinciples,Design pattern)Experience in developing web application with C#, MVC 5, ASP.Net, Web APISound working experience in any one of the JS frameworks including advanced JSframeworks for web comprising of Angular, React, Backbone.Hands on HTML/5, CSS, Advance jQuery & JavaScript and advance knowledge ofdesigningHTML pages with JQuery.Prior experience of bootstrap for managing highly dynamic & scalablebrowser-based UI.Hands on experience in writing high performance SQL queries, in SQL Server 2014/2016 orMYSQL will be preferred.Should have knowledge of Cloud concepts, Azure and .Net Core.Identify production and non-production application issues and assist team withoptimalsolution.Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of .Net developedprojects,including periodic code review.Should Contribute to the development of new techniques and plans within area ofexpertise.Educational Qualification and Experience:Minimum of 15 years of formal education - Graduate / Post Graduate in ComputerScience / InformationTechnology.Professional work experience of 3 to 4 years.
