Job description: Job Summary The Business Continuity Specialist will collaborate with capability directors, process SMEs and the executive team to develop and implement plans to anticipate, address and mitigate the effect of various business interruptions. Responsibility Develops and maintains a business recovery plan and procedure; reviews, revises, and expands existing plans and protocols. Identifies and implements recovery operations and methods to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity in any business impact scenario Creates and facilitates testing / drills for plan execution. Manages testing hotlines and provides solution during testing. Develops and provides staff training / awareness on business continuity and disaster recovery. Provide management updates on the testing plan and outcomes. Performs other related duties as assigned. Skill Requirement - Thorough understanding of business continuity. ISO certification on BCMS preferred (ISO 22301 implementor / auditor) preferred. Excellent strategic, problem solving, and analytical skills. Ability to think through hypothetical situations and concepts and to identify risks and weaknesses in various business processes. Ability to collaborate with others to develop a recovery plan. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools or related software. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or similar field required; Masters degree preferred. Minimum of five years of business continuity experience required.,
