Job Description

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:

  • Interact with the Experts & Architects of BBM Product Lines (PLs) involved in next Gen Platform development, propose improvements w.r.t Compiler/Debugger
  • Develop Test cases to effectively Validate outside Compilers/Debuggers & identify the Defects & avoid them to leak-out to PLs & save Re-work Cost.
  • Have regular Technical Debug Sessions to analyze and resolve the Issues reported in the Compilers/Debuggers & provide the On-time solution to our Customers
  • Do In-depth Technical discussions with Architects from the Vendor Company, and bring insights & clarity in various Technical Features/Issues in the Tool as requested by our Customers.
  • Continuously Optimize & Improvise the stability and efficiency of Compiler / Lauterbach tool-chain
  • Understand the BBM Architectures & Develop Target controlled Flash scripts for Debugger environments based on the Application teams requirements
  • Develop Innovative Proof-Of-Concepts in the Debugger & Compiler area which could benefit our Customers or RBEI
  • Represent Bosch in the Standard Compiler / Debugger forums & provide regular Technical Contribution.
  • Opportunity to groom & lead the Team Technically & enable them for the current & future Project scopes
  • Engage with internal customers and deliver answers/updates/features to support their development
Minimum Skill Set:
  • Strong Experience in Embedded C or Embedded C++ programming
  • Working Experience in Lauterbach Debugger & Scripts
  • Experience developing and contributing to compiler project code base, such as LLVM, GCC, ICC, MSVC
  • Experience developing compiler code generators/ optimizers
  • Excellent coding, problem solving and analysis skills, including experience with assembly code
  • Passion for programming languages, computer architecture, and/or code optimization
  • Experience in C11 & C++11,C++14 Standards
  • Experience in Automation using Python programming.
  • Experience in EABI Standards for Infineon, ARM, Renesas, PowerPC controllers.
