Job Description

    Roles and ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible to aggressivelydrive LogisticsSupply ChainManagementsper Company Business Plan with optimum and efficient utilisation of resources and creating and establishing Companys Brand as Best Diagnostic Service Provider at Affordable Price .Desired Candidate Profile1. Should have entrepreneurial instinct/competencies with strong understanding of business and excellent people connect and smooth team player/builder.2. People/ Team Management.3. Should have sharp analytical mind with ability to comprehend a given issue/situation and come up with cost-effective viable solutions and ensure its timely execution.Should be an effective communicator both verbal and written.Job Responsibility1. Managing the All India Logistics network (Currently ~2000 locations domestically) for the rapid movement of specimens & materials in controlled temperature conditions (Ambient, Refrigerated & Frozen) both Inbound and outbound logistics.2. Complete control over company warehouses ensuring optimum stock levels, with no stock-out or over stocking and timely delivery from warehouse to all collection centres/labs.3. Managing the entire GF on rolls as well as out sourced, ensuring no disruption of operations.4. Expansion of Network by using cost effective modes of transportation.5. Innovation including usage of E-Vehicles and Drones, in a cost effective manner.6. Ensuring TAT compliance for Specimen collection and transportation of materials.7. Intra-city payment collection and related price realization activities.8. Operations & maintenance of Company vehicles.9. Ensuring timely recruitment of GF avoiding overstaffing or understaffing.10. Mapping the CC consumables against the present and future sales as per AOP.11. Reducing the Shrinkage to the maximum & maintaining the reorder level of materials.12. Monthly tracking of Route wise expenses and reporting of unfeasible routes13. Focussing on Cluster wise cost by using minimum manpower14. Inventory control of specimen collection and transportation materials15. Achieving Optimum logistics efficiency on route planning & route comparison16. Focussing on generating business from untapped areas.17. Aiming to reduce the TAT of sample delivery.18. Coordinating with Governmental authorities on Transportation of specimens. (DGFT, customs, clearing & forwarding agents, AAI officials, Airlines Station Cargo Managers, Octroi etc.)19. Evaluating the existing courier services & Service contractors.20. Setting up and managing an information system to monitor the cycle time between pick-ups and deliveries for both inbound & outbound shipments. Focussing on generating business from untapped areas.
