Microsoft s ACAI Domain Data Platform & AI Practice helps customers maximize the potential of their Data in measuring their performance, taking tactical and strategic decision based on predictive models. The Microsoft India Global Delivery is part of a global organization of exceptional people who lead and serve our customers and partners as they realize their full potential through software and services.The Architect plays a key role in driving the identification, pursuit and closure of strategic business development activities whilst continuing to be responsible for the architecture and delivery of existing projects. They will lead in identifying and creatively solving complex customer problems, envisioning and enabling critical processes, and fundamentally helping the customer to achieve their objectives. The Architect must be effective in fostering senior level relationships. They also play a key role in employing, leveraging partners as part of the overall Microsoft services delivery model The Architects responsibilities will include:

• Providing customer guidance during product and services sales cycle, including envisioning solution & benefits, defining workloads & methodology, project sizing.
• Playing a vital part in business strategy by providing risk assessment, reviewing proposals, identifying new Services development area based on market trends, Microsoft Devices & Services vision and customer expectations.
• Skill with data architecture in a cloud environment.
• Driving successful solution deployments by ensuring proper business value and customer/partner satisfaction. Technically driving Microsoft and partners team to secure delivery of the solution in the defined scope of work.
• Growing the business through mentoring, talent pipeline development, and community evangelism and sharing experiences to develop assets within the Data & AI Community.
• Growing the Business by transforming Services opportunity to Projects with intentional selling of applicable packaged Microsoft Services Offerings.
• Driving operational excellence and innovation, leveraging new ideas contributing to increase Microsoft value to customers.

A strong focus on below technologies is required:

• Azure Data platform & AI practice foundation: Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure DevOps
• End-to-end Microsoft BI stack: SQL Server, SQL Azure, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, HD Insight, Stream Insight, SharePoint BI, Power BI, PowerPivot, PowerView, Excel
• Big Data stack: Azure Databricks, Spark, MapReduce, Hadoop, Sqoop, Pig, Hive, Hbase, Flume
• ETL technologies: SSIS, Talend, Pentaho, Informatica, etc
• DBMS: Relational (SQL Server, incl. T-SQL, Scripting, etc), columnar (RedShift, Vertica), NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra - key-value stores, graph databases, RDF triple stores), Azure CosmosDB, OSS Databases on Azure: Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB
• Machine Learning, including Azure ML Services / ML Flow
• General awareness of Machine Learning / Data Science and model operationalization processes
• Languages: Python, Java, R, F#, C#
• Analytical tools, languages, or libraries: SAS, SPSS, R, Mahout, PySpark)
• High-scale or distributed RDBMS Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL DW, PDW, Snowflake, RedShift, Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum, Aster Data, Vertica)
• Development environments: Visual Studio
• Operating Systems: Windows Azure, AWS, Windows Server, Linux
• Delivery experience on of cloud computing and considerations for scalable, distributed systems using IAAS, PAAS & SAAS
• Data migration and integration from existing data stores
• Data Visualization tools, including PowerBI, and/or Tableau

Ability to learn and apply new technologies and programming languages is the key to success in this customer facing role.Its preferable to have exposure to the implementation of CI/CD Pipelines in Azure DevOpsQualifications:

• At least 8-10 years related IT experience with Microsoft Database and DWH products and related technologies.
• Work experience should involve pre-sales support on large deals in technical consulting, solution design of complex solutions, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment, and Team management.
• Must have a proven record of delivering business value and proven trust-relationships with CxO, ITDM, BDM

The job may require travel. Fluent English verbal and written communications skills are a must.
