About the Department About Invest India: Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency of the Government of India, under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The agency serves as the first point of contact for investors exploring India as a business destination. Invest India is responsible for numerous key government initiatives including Startup India, AGNIi, One District One Product, Project Monitoring Group, and Waste to Wealth among others. About Startup India: Startup India is a flagship initiative of the Government of India intended to catalyze startup culture and build a strong and inclusive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship in India. Since the launch of the initiative on 16th January 2016, Startup India has rolled out several programs with the objective of supporting entrepreneurs and transforming India into a country of job creators instead of job seekers. Key Responsibilities: Role Summary You will be part of the Product Management team at Startup India under Invest India.Roles & Responsibilities:- As part of the product management team, you will be focusing on web engagement, youll own the product roadmap for building a world-class product experience to drive user growth and conversion on our products.- Balance multiple disciplines from design thinking to analytics to product strategy. They will discover journeys and opportunities across our web presence to craft and experiment with new experiences.- Be a fluent technical translator. You should be able to present technical complexity in approachable terms for your audience. The person should also be able to engage in divergent thinking, broadly exploring and rapidly iterating on solutions.- Manage end-to-end management of third-party vendor responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining the portal.- Working with designers, engineers, and various stakeholders to coordinate, plan, execute, and track product releases from beginning to end.- Prioritization and road-mapping of tasks related to product features, in conversation with DPIIT, Startup India Team and other stakeholders.- UX/UI Wireframing and Prototyping.- Management of workload of developers and helping them produce clean, efficient code (for both front and back-end) based on specifications.- Run analytics and use tools for the website and app - GA, Heap, Mixpanel, Amplitude, JIRA, Figma and other useful tools for the platform to improve user engagement metrics.- This role is not a project management role. Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience managing and producing digital products.- Demonstrates ability in mobile and tech industry trends and best practices and a willingness to learn and grow.- A proven record of accomplishment of creating programs, products, or customer experiences in highly agile environments.- Ability to listen, learn, and create for end users while being fastidious with assumptions and continually validating with customer feedback and data.- Someone who can invent from concept to design experiences and programs that empowers prospects and customers.- Someone who has an innate ability to synthesize various data, learnings, and research to articulate the most important and actionable insights.- Ability to effectively collaborate with various teams, providing the most useful guidance in an enthusiastic and inspiring manner- Someone who has strong visual thinking and storytelling abilities, simplifying complex concepts and strategies through design and logic- Genuine interest in startups and drive to grow the Indian Startup Ecosystem- Efficient in time and vendor management.,
