Job Description

    Associate Data Scientist - Image BuilderWe are looking for an Associate Data Scientist to join Red Hats Image Builder team to work on improving the analytics of Image Builder and related services. This service is used internally during the development of RHEL and is available to customers on console.redhat.com . Red Hat s services are still emerging, so we welcome curious minds that ask the right questions. You will help shape the role as we move to a more data-driven setup for our services. On the Image Builder team, you will work in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere, figuring out how things work and solving hard problems. Everyone on the team works remotely, across multiple time zones. Thus, the location and work hours for this position are flexible. However, applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business. What you will do
    • Compile regular reports that inform data-driven decisions
    • Work on tooling and automation around analytics
    • Communicate with peer engineers within your team and relevant Open Source communities, as well as other data scientists within Red Hat
    • Take part in collaboration with Business Insights, Site Reliability Engineering, Quality Engineering, Product Experience, and Security teams
    What you will bring
    • Experience sourcing, analyzing, and visualizing data
    • Basic experience developing software in a professional environment
    • Experience analyzing data from Software-as-a-Service products
    • Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn from others
    • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
